The terms of taking part.
By registering for Cyber Hackathon 2026 you agree to the guidelines below, alongside the full rules on the Guidelines page.
Eligibility & accounts
One account per participant, one team per participant, and one problem statement per team. Participation is open strictly to verified college and university students. All details submitted during registration-including student identity, degree program, and uploaded college IDs-must be complete and authentic. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any team found to have falsified or misrepresented eligibility, identity, or roster details at any stage.
Code & submissions
All code must be your team's original work, developed inside your designated private GitHub repository (created by the team leader, named after the team, with every member added as a collaborator) and committed iteratively. A single final code dump or uploading code only at the last moment is grounds for immediate disqualification.
All source code commits and the Google Drive solution video link (8-10 minutes, shared with Viewer access to hackathonccsubihar[at]gmail[dot]com) must be completed by 26 October 2026. Any code commit pushed after the deadline will result in immediate disqualification.
Shortlisted teams (announced on 20 November 2026) must transfer repository ownership to the organizers prior to the Grand Final on 27 November 2026 for code review, commit auditing, and testing. Plagiarized, pre-built, or purchased solutions will be disqualified at any stage, including after awards are announced.
Conduct & evaluation
Participants must engage professionally and respectfully with evaluators, organizers, and fellow teams throughout all phases of the event, including the online evaluation rooms. Any form of misconduct, harassment, or disruption will result in immediate removal and disqualification.
Decisions & schedule adjustments
Video screening, shortlisting of the 25 finalist teams, and Grand Final awards are at the sole discretion of the evaluation panel and organizers, guided by published criteria. All decisions are final and binding. The organizers reserve the right to modify timelines, operational schedules, or event logistics if necessary; any changes will be posted promptly on the portal dashboard and communicated via email.
